Menopause IS NOT A DISEASE; it is a natural phase of life! This phase can also bring its own unique set of challenges—physical, emotional, and mental as our hormones find a new balance and our brains “rewire” themselves.   One thing we often overlook in managing these changes?  Rest and recovery.

🛏️ Why Rest Matters: Hormonal shifts during menopause can lead to fatigue, sleep disturbances, and even heightened stress. Rest allows your body to reset, support hormonal balance, and improve overall well-being.

🏃‍♀️ Recovery is Key: Exercise is crucial, but so is recovery! Whether you’re walking, lifting weights, or practicing yoga, your body needs time to rebuild and rejuvenate after each workout. Proper recovery boosts energy, eases joint pain, and helps manage weight.

💡 How to Prioritize Rest:

  • Create a calming evening routine (less screen time, less alcohol, more self-care)

  • Practice mindfulness or deep breathing to reduce stress (free apps like Calm and Balance offer great starter meditations and breathe work)

  • Be kind to yourself—your body is working hard!
